How are Care Plans different from insurance?
Pet insurance helps cover the cost for unexpected illnesses and injuries, but you may end up paying insurance premiums for services you may never need. With Our Care Plans, you pay a fixed monthly or annual payment at a reduced cost for preventative care services your pet needs.
What is included in a Happy Healthy Pets™ Care Plan?
Our Care Plans cover the following veterinary-recommended preventative services:
Routine exams
Essential vaccines
Lab screenings & tests
Dental cleaning
Spay or neuter procedures
Can I transfer my Care Plan to other pets or people?
Care Plan services are non-transferable to other pets or clients and cannot be exchanged or substituted.
How do I pick the right Care Plan for my pet?
We have coverage for dogs and cats at any stage of life. During your enrollment, we’ll ask you questions to best determine the best care plan for your best friend. Care Plans can always be reevaluated and changed to meet your pet's needs.
How do Care Plans monthly payments work?
When you enroll, you can choose to pay for the entire term of the plan or split it into 12 monthly payments. After the first payment is made, the remaining 11 payments will be auto debited from the credit/debit card* used during enrollment.
*Only valid if credit/debit card on file is valid during entire term of plan.
How do I renew my pet’s Care Plan?
Your Care Plan will automatically renew* at the end of your 12-month term, so that your pet continues to receive care services without interruption.

What happens if I need to make changes to my pet’s Care Plan?
As your pet enters new stages of life, their wellness needs may need to shift. Care Plans are easy to adjust, and you can upgrade to a more comprehensive plan at any point during your current plan. Plus, you can always switch back to a previous Care Plan at time of renewal.
